Hmmm

Well, it's been quite a while since I last logged into the blogging world. I'm sorry for that. But even as I sit here now I'm trying to think of something to write that would interest my few and faithful readers. I can't really think of any one thing to talk about so here is a list of a few things that are happening right now.
  • I am currently working on finishing one entry of my National Board certification. I will finish the other three entries next year and hopefully earn my 12% pay increase for the '10-'11 school year!
  • Steven has been gone exactly 4 months. 1/3 of the way done with deployment and 1/2 way to R and R!
  • My parents are coming to visit on Monday and staying until Friday!
  • I am going home Saturday for Spring Break. I'll get to see my family and wonderful nephew! :)
  • I just fixed my dryer by putting in a new thermal cutoff. (only with directions from my builder a week before)
  • I won an Airliner to use in my classroom!
  • My husband just painted me an awesome picture on microsoft paint. (unfortunately I couldn't attach it)

After looking at my list I realized that all of them are blessings from God. It is so very important to focus on the good things he does for you and not the negative things that happen. What blessings has God placed in your life recently?

Jer 17:7 "But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,whose confidence is in him."

Hmmmm....it sounds like you have been up to a lot and have a lot to be thankful for! :) I am thankful to have a week's vacation to spend with my husband and son. Also, a blessing to FINALLY be over the cold I had for two weeks, probably because of the rest I've been able to get this week. And of course, to see you next week! :) I'm going to try to get Landon's 6 month pictures scheduled for next week so you can go, if you want of course!!
